The data free viewing feature won’t affect the quality of your video. The AT&T TV app uses video optimization technology to provide a better streaming experience, and content is commonly viewable in Standard Definition quality. This is consistent with all streams in the app, however, and is not related to data free viewing.
There is no additional cost to you. It is DIRECTV’s way to say "thank you" for being a customer.
No. Currently, this offer applies to content you view while streaming on the AT&T TV app only.
Content viewed within the AT&T TV app does not count towards the 22GB monthly threshold. But, once your threshold is met and you are in a congested area, network management will apply to content delivered by the AT&T TV app, just like all other content delivered by the AT&T wireless network.
Content streamed within the AT&T TV app will not count towards your Mobile Share Advantage data plan allotment. However, if you reach your data allotment and you’ve exhausted your Rollover Data and any other high speed allotments, all data usage, including that for Data Free TV, will be slowed to 128 Kbps for the remainder of your bill cycle. You will not be able to stream video during this time. If you want more high speed data, you can change your plan.
